I found a video on YouTube, guy fixed his mojo robo duck with this remote. This was before it was plug and play. Found the website was still active for 12vmonster and they had better deals than Amazon. Anyway I expected to have to wire this in myself but now it’s ready to plug right into the robo duck. Works way better than the ones from mojo. I have never had any luck with the mojo brand units remote control stuff. These work great. Way better deal too.

Doesn't work as expected with my duck decoy. On and off switch works only on the on position and will not shut off. Would not recommend this remote.

I was very pleased! I must admit that I was happily surprised that it worked as advertised. The price is very reasonable and 1/3 of the price on, Ebay, Amazon, or Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop.
The only modification that I made was to swap the chrome clasp on the remote for a small camo carabiner (2") to attach to my duck call lanyard.

Off button turns it on. On button turns it off. Also I need to be in real close proximity for it to work. I figured it would work within 50 feet. Maybe you could send me one that works correctly.

The 2 online instructions to wire the receiver to my older lucky duck decoy helped, but weren’t very clear. With a little trial and error it was working in no time! Splice red wire 1 into red battery wire, cut black battery wire, connect black wire #2 from receiver to 1 end, connect black wire #4 from receiver to other end, try it, if it doesn’t work, reverse the black wires. I mixed up the 2 black wires from the receiver when I started so that was the big issue, works great!

I ordered a unit and received it, I could not get it to work on my Baby Mojo. I sent it back and sent in a simply email to which I received a response stating I would be receiving a replacement and requesting an email before I send it back as troubleshooting may have been done. I received the replacement same issue, then I tried it on one of my new baby mojos, it worked great on both. There must be something wired differently on the older version mojo. I plan to rewire it and get all 3 working on one remote. Perhaps a mention about the compatibility issue with older models, could have saved me sometime but its nothing compared to the cost savings. Great product couldn’t be happier.

This remote and receiver do not work as expected. Sometimes pushing the button doesn't do anything. It is rather inconsistent.
Also, the shipping specified that the item would arrive within 10 business days. This was far from reality. It actually took a full month before I actually received the item.
Also, customer service is very difficult to contact. The phone number is useless and they won't return your phone calls. Email was the only potential option for contact and that was quite inconsistent. There would be days without a response to simple questions like helping with the status of delivery.

Was surprised of how easy it was to install on my mojo decoy. At 1/4 of the price of Mojo brand this remote is a no brainer. Shipping took about 2 weeks, and the max distance I've got out of the remote is about 30 yards. Will definitely buy another when i get another mojo.

Cap on sensor does not stay on. Also remote works half ass. It's like remote and censor are on different frequencies. I have to be right on my mojo duck to turn it on/off I'm better off not using the remote. Very disappointed!

The remote will not turn the spinner on unless I am approx 18ft away. We brought them out to the field last week and we could not get them to work properly. For that reason I will have to buy the actual mojo and lucky duck remote kits.

On line instruction for a Lucky Duck were confusing. If you get the photo you can see how I wired it: 1) Cut red and black to the battery posts. 2) join #1 connector red to original red wire to the battery and battery post connector. 3) splice original black wire to #2 connector black.
4) #3 red connector wire is unused. 5) splice #4 connector black to battery post
black wire. Works fine.

The remote is very easy to install and worked right away on my Mojo Mallard decoy. The antenna on either the receiver and/or remote is not as strong as the Mojo OEM equipment so therefore they don't work at long ranges. For my setup, though, that's fine. The other trick is that the remotes are NOT waterproof - neither are Mojo's for that matter - so you have to be really careful to keep them dry when it's raining, otherwise I suspect they'll crap out pretty quickly. That all being said, for the price, it's worth it... especially if you have an older Mojo that didn't come with the remote feature out of the box.

Bought 2 of these for my mojo's and they worked flawlessly when I bought them last year. A year later only one works the other one works only when you put the remote near the antenna. When they work they work great. Yes, I did replace the batteries on the remote.

Bought wiring/remotes for older model spinning wing decoys. Batteries were dead. Was supposed to be reimbursed for them, but never received reimbursement. Because I could only reach 12v by email, it took approximately a couple of weeks of going back and forth to figure out what to do. At first I requested a refund, but instead received an email asking me some questions about the product and a later email asking me to check out the batteries as the problem. I agreed and purchased new ones locally vs. on Amazon as 12v requested, and the power issue was resolved. However, after I sent in the receipt for the batteries purchased, I never heard back or received reimbursement for the batteries. Season started the next day and too much time was wasted already, so going to Amazon was not an option. If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy a remote at one of the big box sporting good stores or hobby shop as 12v's customer service was dismal. Will NOT buy from them again. The money I saved was not worth the aggravation.

Have pretty much no electrical skills and rigged it up for the lucky duck in a couple minutes. Haven't had any problems with range of the remote, sometimes have to click it a couple of times but it works good for the price.

Remote works perfectly with my Mojo robo duck. A very simple set up, just unplug the intermittent control module and plug in the remote control module. Only complaint; the 12V battery was dead but even that was an easy fix; one little screw, replace the battery and replace the screw. Very pleased with the product and the service from 12V Monster. The same, or similar item at the local sports shop is almost 5 times the price.

This item works great for a single Mojo decoy. I was not able to program the remote to work with a second Mojo, though. I tried reprogramming this remote and an older Mojo remote, as well as the respective receivers, and no combination would allow me to have two Mojos controlled by a single remote. Not the end of the world, but not exactly what I was hoping for. The receiver was easy to install - and my original Mojo is one of the first versions - and it worked as soon as I connected the wires. Thanks!

This is my third one for decoy control. I have two old style one still works perfect after 3seasons. However one was in a decoy that blew over in a strong wind complete under water. Retrieved it and dried it out over a period of 3 days. Put back in decoy and still worked however distance was down to 8 feet. Would love to see some type of waterproofing onreceiver to help this condition from happening. Thanks. Jay

The remotes were a gift and they were able to be installed, no issue.
Unfortunately, they showed up almost 10 days later than promised and I missed my dad's birthday. I had ordered them well in advance but wasn't able to give them to him on his birthday.
I was really hoping there would be some sort of refund or make-good for this, but I haven't heard anything back from the company after my 2 emails.

This 12v remote latching switch works great on mojo ducks. Although the batteries provided with the unit weren't usable, 12VM provided new ones and the units worked without incident.

Ordered the item 10/9/16. It is 10/27/16 and I have yet to receive the item. It hasn't even left Hong Kong according to USPS tracking. I emailed someone about it and all I got was "Sorry, it should be there any day now". Pretty disappointed

The model duck decoy I had has a different harness so I had to modify by splicing the wires. 2 minutes and the controller was installed. Works good so far. The remote works to about 50 yards. Shipping took about 2 weeks.

2 Defectives - ON is great OFF doesn't work
I purchased the product with high hopes. The ON button worked from 20+ yards away with no problem every time. The OFF button did nothing unless I was a foot or less away from the unit, even with the antenna wire exposed with no obstruction. I emailed about the problem and was sent a second unit immediately, which was great service. This service level is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of only one star. Unfortunately the second unit has exactly the same problem. These apparently aren't made as well as they were a year or so ago. I've seen similar recent complaints online regarding this product. ON works. OFF doesn't.
