I made a remote gate opener/closer of my own design, using a pair of these latching relays and several other components. I tried to upload both a photo and a video of it working. I can't tell if they uploaded, but it works fine at about 200' distance, so I hope you can see it.

I used this to see my back-up camera while driving in the forward direction. It is wired to both the back-up lights and the tail lights. I don't have daytime running lights on this 2008 Outback so my headlights are on all the time: thus the tail lights are on also.

I am not very tech savvy. I had to figure out how to get this wired properly. Once I figured it out it was pretty simple. I would recommend solid wire vs twisted wire. Had to modify the case cover. I might have over looked it but a single channel vs double channel would have been more pratical for my idea. Regardless it works just as described and hopefully will bring me years of use for my hunting lease.

works good. Installed on my RV for rear lighting. Had to modify case to get wires to fit and secure the coil antenna with hot glue, but when installed it worked.
