We needed to connect conventional carriage lanterns to our low voltage landscape lighting and with the addition of a simple AC to DC converter, these bulbs worked perfectly. The look of the bulb and the warm light level make them especially nice.

Lights are beautiful and worked easily with 12V battery and PWA for dimming. One light had the glass bulb break off at the base, which didn't effect performance but does not look nice. Otherwise, I get a lot of compliments for the lighting setup.
Good brightness for a small wire, I used it with my mini off grid cabin lights - a small solar panel and a 24A battery helps me get lighting to a place where there is no power and completely off the grid
